Hope at the Haven

  • The Haven 4 Whippendell Road Watford, England, WD18 7LU United Kingdom (map)

This summer, we mark 25 years since the dedication of the Haven by the then bishop of St Albans. We are celebrating this occasion with an open day on 8th July, called Hope at the Haven.

We are delighted that the current bishop of St Albans, Bishop Alan, will be joining us to give thanks for the work of the Haven, as well as Dean Russell, MP for Watford, Aga Dychton, Deputy Mayor and Anne Hegerty, from The Chase.

Please do come along to find out more about the amazing work that goes on at the Haven. The Haven has been providing hot food, clothes, showers and housing support to people rough sleeping and facing homelessness in Watford for 25 years. Since the beginning there has been a strong emphasis on offering genuine kindness and a listening ear alongside the practical support. Do join us to hear more about all that is being done to transform lives and situations through this important work. (Although please note that due to the nature of the work, this open day is only for those aged 18 and over.)
