The Community Market Garden is for men and women who are experiencing homelessness or who are vulnerably-housed, as well as those with mental health difficulties.
Please give Ian Bond (the supervisor) a call on 07860 695 141 or email email@example.com to have an informal chat about ways you could get involved.
You could spend time in our large beautiful garden growing and tending plants and vegetables and/or taking part in indoor creative activities. Many people have found the garden to be an oasis of calm with opportunities to try out new activities in a safe place. We have polytunnels, growing beds, a small woodland with a fire pit and a large workshop. Activities include painting, drawing, poetry reading, creative writing, music, woodworking, working with textiles, lino printing and fireside sessions. A hot meal is provided Monday to Thursday and is the chance to socialise in a small group. There is no charge for this service.
We have service users from GROW, YMCA, Guideposts Trust and Watford & Three Rivers Trust ‘Together Timebank’.
Please contact the garden supervisor, Ian Bond, if you would like to find out more or make an appointment to see the garden and complete a referral form. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07860 695 141.
