Could you give big for our Big Give campaign?
We are so pleased to share that we have once again been chosen to take part in the Big Give’ Christmas Challenge campaign to provide advice and support to people experiencing homelessness in Watford!
Last year, £22,500 of donations were doubled by some of our generous donors and a funder arranged by the Big Give meaning that £45,000 was raised to support some of the most vulnerable people in Watford.
This year, we need to raise pledge funds by the 29th August to be in with a chance of receiving extra funds from one of the Big Give’s funding partners. Last year £7,500 was kindly given by the Reed Foundation to support the work of the Haven.
I want to pledge, what’s next?
To be part of the campaign, you’ll need to have pledged by 5pm on August 29th.
The minimum pledge is £100 (and while there is no maximum, we are aiming for £15,000 of pledges altogether).
Pledges made will be collected in December so there is no cost to you until after the campaign.
If you do pledge, you wont be able to donate to the campaign itself.
We’re so grateful that you are considering making a pledge toward this year’s Christmas campaign. Your support, as little or as much as you are prepared to give, will provide essentials such as hearty meals, hot showers, clean clothes and support into accommodation to some of the most vulnerable people in our town, people who would otherwise have no home for Christmas.
