Support New Hope this Harvest Festival

As we enter the season of giving thanks, New Hope is calling on schools, churches, faith groups, and local businesses across Watford to support its annual Harvest Festival Appeal.

Your generosity can bring hope and dignity to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship right here in our community.

Each autumn, our Harvest Festival Appeal plays a vital role in stocking our food store, which supplies essential items to residents in supported accommodation and vulnerable people using New Hope’s services, including the emergency night shelter.

We especially appreciate:

  • Non-perishable groceries (tins, pasta, rice, cereal, sauces, snacks)

  • Drinks (bottled water, long-life milk, juice, tea, coffee)

  • Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, shampoo, sanitary products)

  • Baby & children's essentials (nappies, wipes, baby food, formula)

  • Household basics (toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, laundry powder, cleaning products)

Please download this list to find out what is urgently needed.

Every tin, packet, or bottle you give helps someone take a step away from crisis toward stability and independence. Your contributions support not only individuals sleeping rough but also people rebuilding their lives in temporary accommodation.

Harvest is the perfect time to count our blessings, celebrate what we have and share a little kindness.

Whether you're a school organising a collection, a church holding a Harvest service, or a business looking to give back - your involvement will make a real difference.
