New Hope has a lead chaplain (a paid part-time post) and a team of volunteer chaplains.
Sarah, the Lead Chaplain, at the Haven
The chaplains spend time with people in our different services in a relaxed and informal way, listening, encouraging and praying. The chaplaincy service is also involved in leading Bible studies, Alpha courses, and services at Christmas and Easter.
The chaplaincy service provides emotional and wellbeing support to all service users, volunteers and staff - regardless of faith and belief.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer chaplain, please contact Nic Platt, our HR and Volunteer Administrator, for an initial chat.
