A message from Matthew Heasman, New Hope’s CEO
We ran what is known as SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) over 10 nights and accommodated 14 different individuals. St Mary’s Church and a team of volunteers from local churches ran a SWEP overflow over two nights (1 and 2 March) and a further 9 people were able to sleep there.
Everyone who wanted accommodation was able to be accommodated.
