Thank you to everyone who donated to our Christmas Appeal, A Bed for a Night.

What are you dreaming of this Christmas? Maybe, after last year’s last-minute lockdown, you are looking forward to celebrating Christmas in the company of family or friends. Maybe you are dreaming of summer sun and are longing to escape the UK for a change of climate? Perhaps there’s a particular present you desire?

New Hope is operating the SWEP on behalf of Watford Borough Council this winter (2021/2022). SWEP will be activated when the Met Office forecasts zero degrees Celsius, or below, for one night. Local conditions such as wind chill, rain and snow will also be considered.

As winter approaches, we wanted to let you know about different ways to help people experiencing homelessness in Watford.

We are excited to be working with The Choir with No Name as they prepare to launch their first Choir With No Name Community Choir in Watford.

Do you have any spare art supplies stashed away? We are looking for paints, pencils, brushes, mindfulness colouring books, art papers and canvases for our upcoming art sessions hosted by the Cultivate team.
