Emergency Short-term Accommodation for People Experiencing
Homelessness

Our Emergency Accommodation offers short-term accommodation (22 bedrooms), as well as support, meals and laundry facilities. This accommodation focuses on helping people with a local connection to Watford.

Staff work with other services, including our tenancy sustainment team, to provide a tailored package for each person while helping them towards moving into longer-term accommodation.

Address: Central Watford

The Emergency Accommodation impact:

In the financial year 2023/24, 74 people stayed in Emergency Accommodation.

“Every penny I had went on alcohol which led to my family asking me to leave. I was rough sleeping and didn’t know what to do.

Now I have a purpose in life and a key to my own room. I have made friends and learnt new skills, such as cooking. Things are looking up
