A completely free emergency night shelter providing bed, dinner and breakfast for up to 44 homeless people every night of the year to the homeless people of London.

Offering:

Emergency night shelter.

44 beds.

Free dinner and breakfast.

Access to a doctor, a counsellor, a lawyer, training and ultimately a job.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: homeless individuals from any area and ethnic background regardless of access to funds. All specific needs are accepted.

Ashiana Network offers specialist refuge, advice, support and counselling services for black and minority ethnic women and girls (14+) affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour based violence, female genital mutilation and women who have no recourse to public funds.

Offering:

Three refuge properties with 20 beds.

Advice and support.

Counselling for women and girls affected by domestic violence.

Outreach support to educate local schools on the issue of domestic abuse.

Eligibility Criteria: All women from South Asian, Turkish and Iranian Communities between the ages of 16-30. Women without children experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence and women affected by harmful practices such as forced marriage, honour-based-violence or homelessness as a result of domestic violence. Other cultures may be accepted if their culture bears enough similarities.

Gilead Foundations offer a supported living service on a farm in Devon, for women who have had a range of experiences, including: drug and alcohol addictions, homelessness, anxiety, and domestic abuse.

Gilead’s main aim is to help residents develop and maintain long term stability and independence.

Offering:

Accommodation for up to eight women residents, plus support workers, is provided in a family environment in a modern, purpose designed bungalow situated on the farm.

Advice and support.

Residents are given opportunities to learn basic work ethics in the various practical areas such as kitchens and domestics and to have access to a variety of agricultural work experience – such as animal husbandry and general farm work including milking, gardening and maintenance.

Cost: Accommodation costs are covered by Housing Benefit and support and needs costs can be covered by individual benefits
