120-122 Exchange Road Update

Last week, we shared the news that Watford Borough Council would be discussing New Hope purchasing 120-122 Exchange Road (most recently a Hindu temple and before that Age Concern was based there). The discussion took place on the evening of Wednesday 1 July and it was agreed to sell the building to New Hope!

This is a significant milestone in the development of The Hub!

We were able to purchase the freehold of the Sanctuary (next door) last year due to a large gift from an anonymous benefactor and the purchase of this building will be funded through a significant legacy.

In due course, there will be opportunity for us all to donate to this project and play our part in creating a new purpose-built facility for people experiencing homelessness in the town.
