Rob Edmonds
Head of Services

Rob oversees all of New Hope’s accommodation services as well as the Haven Support Centre and the Tenancy Sustainment Team. He is also New Hope’s service user advocate and champions health and wellbeing with service users, staff and volunteers.

Rob joined the New Hope team in 1996 as part of a gap year and has never left. He has vast first-hand experience of working with homeless and vulnerably-housed people and is passionate about supporting the vulnerable within society, particularly those who have given up on everything – including themselves.

Rob has a theology degree and a post-graduate certificate in Addiction Studies and currently serves as a trustee for ISSAC UK (a Christian-based organisation that encourages and supports people working in the area of substance misuse and addiction). In his spare time, he enjoys cricket and football (he’s a passionate supporter of Kent CCC and Arsenal), experimenting in the kitchen and spending time with his wife, Cosmina.
