Christmas Meal Volunteers


Hours: 11am-3pm

Date: Friday 26th December and Thursday 1st January

Location: New Hope Emergency Accommodation, Watford

Can you help to cook a festive meal on Boxing Day or New Years Day?

We are looking for volunteers to help prepare these meals at our Emergency Accommodation service.

The role will involve helping to prepare, cook, and serve a traditional roast dinner, setting up and laying tables, and packing away and cleaning up afterwards.

We are looking for volunteers on Boxing Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This is a fantastic opportunity to offer support and companionship during a time that can be particularly challenging for those without stable housing.

Volunteers must be aged 18 years or over, be able to commit to a regular schedule of volunteering and be able to follow instructions and work within a set of guidelines The ability to build a good rapport with our service users is also important. Relevant training for the role will be provided.
