Telephone Service with Volunteers providing a confidential & supportive listening service.

Operators can provide recommendations for whom to contact for additional support.

Eligibility Criteria: Individuals experiencing mental health difficulties or crisis or those with concerns for the mental health of another.

A service that provides primary care to meet the health needs of homeless and disadvantaged patients in Watford and Three Rivers.

Offering:

Health Checks and Screenings.

Vaccinations.

Referrals for additional care.

Addiction Support.

Referral to Night Shelter.
 

Cost: free to users.

Eligibility Criteria: varies depending on service required.

Referral Procedure: visit surgery and register in person.


Signpost

Free and confidential counselling, coaching and other support to 10-25 year olds in Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Rickmansworth, South Oxhey and Borehamwood.

Offering:

Face-to-face discussion and counselling services that include:
• depression, anxiety, self-harm & other mental health issues.
• relationships, bereavement & family breakdown.
• sexual health, sexuality & pregnancy.
• coping with physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
• overcoming dependency on drugs, alcohol & tobacco.
• bullying, anger management, eating disorders & many more.

Coaching.

Peer Mentoring.

Group support.
 

Cost: free for 10-19 year olds who have not previously received support. Self-funded counselling available for adults.

Eligibility Criteria: people aged 10 and above.

Referral Procedure: self-referral via the website only. Appointments can only be booked by the client themselves (except 11-13 year-olds whose parents can book appointments for them).
