Eligibility Criteria: Individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.

Referral Procedure: call the 0800 number and the team will connect you to trhe appropriate person.


Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)

0800 58 58 58 (5pm - midnight)

Reducing the risk od suicide by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, and bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don’t die by suicide.

Offering:

Articles and guides about mental health and suicide.
Helpline and online chat available between 5pm and midnight, 365 days a year.
SIgnposting and referrals to other mental health services. 

Cost: free to users.

Eligibility Criteria: people experiencing or who know someone who is experiencing poor mental health or suicidal thoughts.

Referral Procedure: call 0800 number, use chatbot or complete anonymous online form.


SHOUT

Text SHOUT to 85258

Free and confidential text messaging support service.

Offering:

24/7 confidential text messaging support with volunteers.
Advice and signposting to professional mentla health services.
 

Cost: free to access.

Eligibility Criteria: people experiencing mental health challenges.

Referral Procedure: self-referral via the text number only. After 4 automated messages outlining the service, a connection will be made to a volunteer operator.
